craving a change

I've almost had this blog for a year now, and let me tell you, it has been quite the journey. What started out as a silly way to vent my feelings ended up being much, much more. I began this blog with the intent to only write every now and then. I didn't want to become one of those people who becomes addicted and blogs every day, because to be honest, who wants to read what they have to say? I found after a while though, that there are many things I don't say to people because I assume that they don't want to listen. I started writing more and more on this blog, I think possibly because I can't feel rejected by my computer... but now I have come to the realization that there are people in my life who do care what I have to say. And maybe even people who aren't in my life who care. And sometimes that's all a person needs, right? The knowledge that they matter, even a little bit. That what they are feeling is normal. That what they are thinking is normal. That who they are is good. And that they are doing a good job at life. Sometimes all a person needs is a little validation. So I want to thank all of you who read, and all of you who comment on my random thoughts about life. It means a lot, and I hope my list of followers grows and grows.
