rock climbing a.k.a. rock-liming a pastime where you place limes on rocks.

One thing I knew about Alex when we first started dating was that the kid LOVES rock climbing. You may recall, if you've read our love story, that in the very beginning of it all we went rock climbing and I may have rejected him on a rock... but the past is the past and now we are happily married! What a life!
We go about once a week now, even though every time we go Alex says that we should go at least three or four times a week. I always smile and nod, knowing that what will actually happen is that we'll talk about going and then we'll accidentally(?) sleep in. Because you know, morning is a great time for such activities. Sleeping and rock climbing. This week, Alex got new rock climbing shoes for his birthday, so of course we HAD to go. And yes, we slept in. So yes, we ended up going at like 2 in the afternoon, which as it happens is NOT ideal rock climbing weather. I was sweating hard core. Very attractive. Anyway, it ended up still being fun, because rock climbing is kind of thrilling - that feeling you get when you're at the very top and you can see the whole world around you! And also because we love being with each other (awwwwwwwwww (gagging noise)). Rock climbing is a great way to stay in shape, and it's definitely a lesson in trust. I have to trust Alex, because he's the one that holds onto the rope that is saving my life! Like I said, thrilling! We've been very into getting in shape lately, the two of us. In fact, I am sitting on my bed right now, wallowing in aching muscles from my Zumba and Yoga, and at the same time really really wanting a bowl of that ice cream that's in the freezer....
