across the universe

On this past lovely Thanksgiving weekend, I found myself with my younger sisters, contemplating a movie to amuse ourselves with. 

We settled on Across the Universe.

Now, I happen to think that this movie is very bizarre.

But, there is no denying the music is superb.

So I sat back, relaxed, and enjoyed the product of John Lennon's genius.

And this may sound silly, and completely unimportant.

But there was a line, waiting especially for me, in the song "Hey, Jude".

Hey Jude, don't be afraid,

you were made to go out and get her

Chills.

You were made...

He was made to go out and get her.

What power lies in those words.

The fact that that is his purpose.

He was made.

MADE.

To go out and get her.

How beautiful that is. 

How beautiful it is that we were all MADE for a purpose.

Whether it's to go out and get someone, or something completely different.

I simply adore that.
