And now, for your entertainment...
It's that wonderful time of year, when my family and I venture to the coast of Washington to visit my grandma! She lives in the quaintest little fishing town, and it is one of my most loved places! We usually make a day trip to Seattle, and this vacation was no exception. Our favorite thing to do in Seattle is explore Pike's Fish Market. There are so many cool little locally owned shops there, and the flowers are GORGEOUS. (I mean, check out the size of those peonies up there!) I think one of the things I love most about Seattle and other big cities is the way that you can see people from all walks of life. There are people begging for money on every corner, and there are people in fancy trench coats and high heels entering the fancy stores. Such a different life than my little suburban one in Utah. I am so lucky to have the life that I have! Especially since that life allows me to explore other places.
And let me tell you... even though I come here every year, I could not be more in love with the northwest. America the beautiful!
p.s. any fun plans for the fourth of july? I'll be spending it watching fireworks on the beach.
