the time i went to downton abbey

I don't know how many of you watch the show Downton Abbey, but if you don't watch it, you should be. Because it's pretty much the best show on TV nowadays. So of course, when I heard that we would be taking a trip to England way back when, I knew that Downton was one of the stops I wanted to make. The cool thing is that Highclere Castle (the real Downton Abbey) is only open at certain times of the year, and it just HAPPENED to be open when I was coming. So, thanks to my grandma's stellar itinerary planning skills, we got to go. It's crazy to think I was there just a week ago, but that's how life goes I suppose! It was the most beautiful place. Their gardens went on for miles and miles. And the house itself looks JUST like it does in the show. The weird part about England is that you can't take pictures inside anywhere, so that's why I only have pictures outside. But I guess, with this one, you can just watch the show and see exactly what I saw! I can now say that I have walked where Matthew and Mary got engaged. And I'm just thrilled to pieces.
