my favorite necklace that i just got, so wahoo!

I'm still at school right now... :/

The thing is, I have a meeting at 4, and I don't really feel like it's worth it to go home for 45 minutes. You know? So I'm here at school, knowing that I have stuff to be doing, and just really feeling like taking a big ole break. The days are getting longerrrrr people. WAY longer.

I have a really cute little fourth grader in my classroom typing up her science fair project. She's just so sweet, and she doesn't have a printer at home, you know? How could I say no to that? So she's typing, I'm typing, things are happening here.

Mostly I wanted to brag to you all about my cute cute cute new necklace. I have wanted a necklace with mine and Alex's initials on it forever because I just wasn't feeling like our marriage was cheesy enough already, you know? Like, our love is sealed now that I have this necklace. (this is by no means an ad or anything, it's just that i'm excited about it.)

There's the cutest little store down where my family is from called Hip & Humble. I went in there a couple months ago with my sister, shopping for her mission, and what to my wondering eyes did appear? A whole table full of charms and chains to make your own customized necklace! At the time, I just felt a pang of longing and went on my merry way. Finally... months later, it was MY birthday! So, you know, I dragged my mom there and she helped me put it together, and it has a small "a" and a small "m" on gold in typewriter font, and two tiny little birth stones to tie it all together! (white topaz for me, ruby for him.)

So, I don't know guys. I just think it's cute. I mean, you could even get one just for yourself and I bet no one would complain.

That's all for this Wednesday folks. That's all.

p.s. tomorrow is the science fair. do you remember the science fair? crazy times.

  1. I love your necklace! It's simple, but is totally bursting out with attractiveness. No wonder why it became your favorite. Yes, it has a meaningful symbolism to you, but we really can’t deny the fact that it is truly beautiful in appearance. Thanks for sharing that, Madeline! Stay gorgeous!
