What I Wore Wednesday // 3

Here is one outfit that I documented. I spent most of last week on break lounging in my sweats. Not super exciting! Anyway, on to it:

scarf: Bohme (sale!)  shirt: Anthropologie (splurge.)  Skirt: Bella Me in Logan  Tights: who knows?  boots: Nordstrom Rack
In other news. Some of you who know me in real life or who have been reading this blog for a long time know, I am CA-RA-ZAY about holidays. Especially Christmas. But like, the whole holiday season in general gets me all sorts of excited. I sometimes break into tears if I think about it too much and this is not an exaggeration, you can ask my husband. (On my birthday he said, "Guess what? The birthday Santa came!!" and I immediately burst into tears for like 5 minutes about it.)

Anyway, Alex doesn't feel the same way. I mean sure, he likes the holidays, but he just wasn't raised to have the same passion as me. Asking him what he wants for birthday or Christmas presents is like pulling teeth. Seriously. It makes me insane that he won't just tell me what he wants! He's always droning on about saving money or how he doesn't need anything. (Christmas is not for needs! It's for wants! Enjoy it!)

Well, wonder of wonder miracle of miracles, the other day Alex says to me, "I've already been thinking about what I want to put on my Christmas list..."

Wouldn't you know it, my heart melted into a puddle right there and if this was my iphone you'd see all sorts of heart eye emojis clogging up the rest of this blog post.

It's the little things.

  2. Also...it's good he's thinking about what he wants, because the hot tub session in Island Park will be here in no time. Woohoo! I mean, Ho-Ho-Ho!!!

    Daddy again.

  3. wait, how cute is it that your dad reads and comments on your blog? i'm obsessed with that.

also, i feel you on christmas. jake is the same way, and a couple weeks ago he mentioned he wanted a ps4. i asked him if that's what he wanted for christmas and he said no. so a conversation ensued and i basically just said, "hey, let's triple our christmas budget so you can get a ps4 and i don't have to stress about what to get you" and that's what happened. and now we're done christmas shopping for each other and i'm just so happy about all of it.

SO YES. i understand your feelings and congrats on alex having a christmas list!!

    xoxo

  4. Bohme + Anthropologie. That is the best combination probably ever. ^^I also agree that your dad is a sweetie.
