dizzy from a shopping mall

I've had one of those weeks. You know the kind where everything seems to be on the brink of all falling apart? The key word there is "seems". It's funny how much your mind can change the way the world looks to you. Once you start letting the self doubt seep into your brain, whispering tales of how you aren't good enough to have what you want... it's pretty hard to ignore it. And soon the whispers are getting louder and louder, and it's all you can hear anymore.

Well. I've also had one of those weeks. You know the kind where everything seems to be going wrong, but then it magically turns right again? When your mind tells you that you can't do it, you can't possibly get into all the classes you need, you'll probably need another year of school... and then your advisor fixes everything back to the way you wanted it? When your rotten thoughts whine that your fourth graders won't care at all about you leaving, and then they write you a million cute little cards about how much they will miss you? When you are plagued with the thought that no one wants to hang out with you, and your mom and sisters randomly show up to make you smile?

It's just been one of those weeks. But I'm here to tell you, life is good.
