confession: if i could have any addiction with no consequences... i would be a shopaholic.

third largest shopping center in the world. Denmark. H&M just around the corner.
So, yesterday I totally spent the day shopping like CRAY-ZAY.
I mean it. We were all over this town.
Ok, just all over Fashion Place Mall in Murray.
Because, yes, we have totally jumped on the bandwagon of ohmygoodnessthereisfinallyanh&minutahisn't thisthegreatestthingever?!?!?!!!?!?
Let me tell you, It's not.
Not the greatest thing ever.
Going to H&M in Utah is fine. That's how you can describe it. They still have awesome clothes, and there are still amazing prices. It's cool, no doubt.
But there is none of the magic of finding yourself in Las Vegas, or California, or Seattle, or Denmark (yes I have been to the H&M in Denmark!) and just knowing that you can only get that stuff there. Gone are the days of being able to say, "oh, I actually got this at H&M so you can't have it unless you go to a different state".
Not that I would say that anyway, that's kind of rude.
Well, I digress.
What I meant to say with this whole thing is that my mom was totally right while I was growing up. DON'T BOTHER SHOPPING ON THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS.
It's a madhouse. Pure and utter chaos.
My feet hurt, my head hurt, and my shoulders hurt.
I did get some fabulous clothes however,
so maybe it was worth it.
maybe.

p.s. i'm loving the book "Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns)" by Mindy Kaling. She's hilarious. I can't put it down.
