This month, I've decided to participate in Jenni's Blogtember! This is not something I would normally do, but I thought, hey! Let's change things up a bit! Step out of your comfort zone! I also liked the idea, because as much as I TRY to be a regular blogger... I find myself slacking more often than not. Jenni has the sweetest blog, she literally blogs about EVERYTHING, so I figured her ideas for the month would be really great, and I was right. I'm so excited about every topic! Today's topic is "Describe where or what you came from. The people, the places, and/or the factors that make up who you are."
Anyone who knows me knows that I love my family. I love them a lot. We're all the best of friends, which, as I've come in contact with other people from around the country, I've realized is not always normal! I'm so thankful for every one of those people up in those pictures. (Which, by the way, were taken by Ashlee Raubach, my photography crush until she moved to California.) I grew up in a home surrounded by people who I knew would support me in everything I did. They always have my back, and I always have theirs. We love being around each other, and often when I go home, all we do is sit around the kitchen and talk. My sisters and I are the best of friends, and I have totally become my mother, just like I was always told I would be! My dad is the most supportive and loving father, and he has raised my brother to be a good boy who makes good choices - any girl would be lucky to end up with him! I would not be who I am without these people and the experiences we have had together. We lift each other up always, and at the end of the day, I would rather be hanging out with them - and Alex! rather than be anywhere else.
Where or what did you come from? I would love to know. Anyone else have families who are crazy close?
p.s. 3 day weekends should be an every week thing, don't you think?
