It's a good week for a weekend.

So, last Friday Alex and I headed down to my parents house for a four day weekend - doctors appointments had been put off, and it was a perfect time to hang out with Olivia before she left me for 18 months. At the end of Tuesday, I was really feeling like I should have just taken Wednesday off, because Alex found out that his eye doctor appointment was going to be on Wednesday! So we would have to drive back to Logan, and then drive back down on Wednesday. This equals a lot of gas. But oh well, I hadn't scheduled a sub! So Alex drove down on Wednesday, then came back up with the news that his Grandma's birthday party was going to be on Thursday evening and we should probably go to it because you never know how long they're going to be around... cue another 40 minute there and back drive on Thursday.

I think I probably should have just taken the whole week off, don't you?

Either that or I could look for some new doctors here in Logan... but that feels permanent to me and I'm not looking to be here forever.

Oh well, thank goodness it's Friday!

p.s. I dressed up like my little sister today. I like 18 month hand-me-downs, and she's the queen of the top knot, so it works, right?
