It has been snowing all day, which I don't really mind. Because it's Utah and it will be sunny and warm tomorrow. But today I was at school until 5:30, and I was getting really hungry and pretty tired. So I thought, hey, I should go to the grocery store, be responsible, get some healthy food and make dinner.
I walked through each aisle, remembering EVERYTHING on my list with no problem whatsoever. And then I got to the check out. My perfect groceries were sailing down the conveyor belt while I rummaged through my purse for my wallet. My wallet that wasn't there. Because my wallet was on my couch at home.
I went home, got the wallet, and made my way back to the store where I sheepishly paid for and took my items home.
The refrigerated items made it to my fridge. The rest of the items are still on the table. Because here's the thing...
I decided instead of a healthy dinner, I would eat this $5 pizza.
No regrets.
p.s. I was just wondering, when you sweet people leave comments, how would you like me to reply? I usually email people back, but sometimes people don't have their emails attached to their profile... but I worry that if I respond in the comments, you won't see it, and I want you to know I read and answered you! So umm... just let me know if you have a preference. I'll do whatever you want.
I cannot even tell you how often I do the same thing. And when it happens, pizza is always the answer.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad it's not just me, and I'm so glad you agree!
DeleteYou poor thing :/ I always check before I go to the store because that is my worst fear!!! Also I always come back to posts I comment on because some bloggers reply right here! :) Do what makes YOU happy! You're sweet to even reply at all. Lots of people don't!
ReplyDeleteThank you! And sorry it took so long for me to finally reply to this ha ha. I won't be leaving without my wallet any time soon, that's for sure!
