if i could just go to sleep,
and wake up tomorrow having completed my project and got off work for the weekend...
pretty sure my life would be perfect.
k, talk to ya later.

and... i read this right after i wrote this post. wonderful. quote via
p.s. last chance to vote!! (and still a little offended that being sick of my blog is in second place... you guys are joking, right?)

How To Study for Two Midterms*
1. Wake up at 9:15
2. Shower
3. Check Blackboard Email for assignment
4. Eat Breakfast
5. Realize it's 10:20 and quickly do hair and makeup
6. Walk to Class at 10:35
7. Get nervous about being very late and practically run down the stairs in the HPER. Then feel self-conscious about looking nerdy.
8. Listen to the end of the story the teacher is reading
9. Practice silly skit with group
10. Perform skit
11. Zone out for the rest of class
12. Book it to the TSC to buy a scantron at 11:45
13. Start walking home. Awkward moment where guy in front of me is going the same way so it seems like I am following him. Sorry.
14. Run to bedroom and order a Jimmy John's sandwich online. I've been too afraid to do that for a while... finally got brave.
15. Read blogs, check email.
16. Receive sandwich. It was delicious.
17. Read article for homework.
18. Blog.
And my first test is at 2:30... I am on a roll.

* some restrictions apply.

p.s. remember how gmail made it so you can only use one account for blogging and email and all that? Well, Safari took that as permission to stop letting me sign into my blog all together. I have now downloaded Firefox.

redundancy

Oh hello, and welcome back! This evening I am privileged to introduce you to the one and only "You chose 'my thoughts on boys' but wait! what thoughts?" poll. You may recall about a week ago, you had the pleasure of voting in the "what will my 100th post be about" poll. Well, the votes were in and going strong, but one of the answers had such a large lead on the others, that we at the p.s. my name is madeline blog, decided to narrow the category down. You chose "my thoughts on boys" and now we ask, "which thoughts?" Madeline has many many thoughts on that subject, and she simply cannot write one post about all of her thoughts. She's a busy woman. She has things to do, places to go, people (Jenna Colvin) to see. So we would ask if you would please turn your attention once again to the left side of your screen, and pick a category of thought you would like Madeline to elaborate on. Vote wisely, and remember that no subject is superior to the others. Please form an orderly line when I say go. No pushing! Thank you all for coming. Now, go!

p.s. I've never posted twice in one day before! How exciting!

search: synonyms for procrastinate

Hello everyone! And welcome to p.s. my name is Madeline. Please keep your arms and legs inside the ride at all times. If you are wearing open toed shoes, feel free to slip them off, otherwise you might lose them. Before we take off, I would like to direct you to the right hand side of your screen. Please notice a new addition entitled "What do you want to hear about in my 100th post?" The title should be self explanatory, but for those of you who just learned to read (yes, I mean you) this means you get to pick what I'm going to write about in my 100th blog. Don't believe me? Think I have my fingers crossed behind my back? Please refer to my post on November 3, 2010, where I explain that I can't lie. I've listed some extremely bland topics for you to pick from, and whichever one gets the most votes, I will write about. "But Madeline," some will argue, "those topics are extremely bland!" Well, to these misinformed people, I will say, "Nonsense, at least three of these topics are things I would never write about unless forced." So I encourage you to vote for the topic you most desire! And if yours doesn't win, feel free to ask me about it, in person, after the ride. Please pull your handle bars down, and fasten your seatbelts. buh bye now.

p.s. I just realized I have a lot of unnecessary shoes.

i promise i won't do it again...

I am very glad I have made it into the Elementary Education program. For more reasons than one! One of these reasons being that all my classes are chosen for me, and registering is a piece of cake. Back in the day, when I had to finish up my generals, and higher level weird stuff, I spent a lot of time looking through the class catalogue. It seemed to me that if I had to take those classes, they might as well be something interesting to me. I didn't want to take your run of the mill science or history classes. I wanted to be unique. Every time I've gone to register, I always remind myself that being unique as far as classes go is NOT a good idea! There was the SOIL 2000 debacle of Freshman year. The Political Thought In America problem of Fall Sophomore year, and Evolution in the spring. And without fail, I did it again for THIS semester by choosing History of the American West.
Honestly.
Will I ever learn?
After memorizing the 12 different soils, reading a large book by Alexis De Tocqueville, and writing numerous essays on evolution, which I strongly disagree with, you would think I'd stick to the basic, everyone-takes-this classes.
Now I'm stuck writing TEN essays for History of the American West. I've known about this assignment all semester. I knew about it the day the class started. I thought to myself, 'I don't want to write ten essays. Maybe I should drop this class.'
Ugh... Don't even get me started on my inability to quit things. I never give up. Ten essays, here I come.

p.s. Today I taught quidditch to a third grade p.e. class.
