end of semester boredom? strange.

look! i finished my very first half gallon of milk this semester! it didn't even go bad! woo hoo!

All I have been doing lately is telling stories.

I'm sorry, is that annoying?

When I first started this blog, that's basically all it was.

I hardly ever told what was happening in my real life.

But you know, writing about real life is just as fun sometimes.

So I hope you don't mind my stories, I'll try to make it an even balance... I just have a lot of good ones lately.

This week is so strange to me. I can hardly believe it's the last week of classes.

And due to what I posted about the last two days... I've been basically dying of boredom.

There's only so much homework and studying you can do in a day, you know? (and by that I mean, no homework at all, what?)

So for that reason, I'm pretty excited to have a long and much needed break.

(I am so so serious about the dying of boredom thing. Anyone want to hang out?)

But the end is getting closer.

And closer. 

As I was gently reminded as I walked out of my class of death last ESL class of the semester.

Into the bitter cold.

Wearing my shark sweatshirt. Because what else would I wear?

Bring it on, school. Bring it on.

uhh... I take that back actually. if you could go easy on me, School, that would be much appreciated.

Well, I don't know quite what to say...

Because honestly, I shouldn't be saying anything. 

I have a delightful presentation to be working on and it's due in a few hours.

no worries.

(and by delightful i mean i hate it.)

Anyway, 

the weather is nice today,

and i got a new jacket.

so things are definitely looking good so far.

if i could just go to sleep,

and wake up tomorrow having completed my project and got off work for the weekend...

pretty sure my life would be perfect.

Sometimes I take pictures of my shoes. This is because I love them. (Forever 21). And also because I finally got on board with the whole "instagram" app. And I was interested to see what would happen to my amazing tan line on my feet if I edited it up a bit. Well... I'm liking it a lot. How about you?

 Continuing on with my lovely Instagrams... I got a jamba today and it was heavenly. I can't tell you what flavor it was though. Because it's a secret flavor. So you'll just have to guess! But. I get it EVERY TIME. Because it's deliciousness is almost more than I can handle. So, if you're lucky enough to know which one it is, I encourage you to treat yourself to one immediately.

And finally, to end this random post. You may have heard me talk about my best friend Haley. We have gone to school together since elementary. Only Haley doesn't remember me from way back when. (I do actually remember her...)  We've talked about it, and we had a ton of classes together. And it turns out we stood next to each other in a Chorus performance in like fifth grade. She's in the middle, I'm on the right with glasses. Funny how this world works, eh? We never knew we'd be roommates eventually...

1. My mom. She's really cool. She should be on everyone's mind.

2. My overflowing bag of clothes on my floor. They need to be put away... by someone else preferably.

3. Sister's prom night. She wore my old dress and everything. Lucky.

4. Superheroes. Why aren't they real?

5. Planning a bridal shower for one of my oldest friends. And I love it.

6. What to wear tomorrow? So many options. Really though, I have a lot of clothes. See #2.

7. I think my cat Penelope should have her babies today. It seems appropriate.

8. Gym membership for the summer. Is it weird that I'm excited for this? No.

10. Jenna Colvin's letter to me. We used to communicate through blogs. Now we communicate on paper. That's cute.

dreams of july

So I won't bore you with the cliche details of how cold it is here in Logan, and how when I was walking home yesterday in the bitter wind I felt like giving up and laying in a huddled mass underneath a tree - because of course that would be better than sticking it out and getting home in the next two minutes. I also won't bore you with the fact that I now consider sleep a higher priority than anything else. I won't bother to tell you about how much I miss wearing normal clothes everyday - business casual stands for boring clothes. I won't worry you with how much I run out of time and forget to pack a lunch. I won't bother you with the fact that a very nice person surprised me with fruit snacks and granola bars because he knew this about me. I don't really feel like explaining to you how cute and sweet my first graders are. Don't ask me. I don't feel like telling you.

I don't.
