no trouble in paradise

Tonight I was at Kjarinda's house, just you know, chillin... watching some tv shows. (doesn't really matter what they were.)
And we got to talking about our amazing trip coming up in March for Spring Break.
Because, yes, that's right, we are going to HAWAII.
I have never been, so this is a big deal to me.
It was so exciting thinking about all the fun we have in store for our futures. And honestly, the fun doesn't end there. Both of us have amazing 2012's coming up. It's so great to have a plan for almost the whole year.
The great thing is, we know that we start school next week. We know that we are going to Hawaii in March. We know that my birthday is in April (which we also know my friends are going to throw a HUGE party for... right friends?? :) ) We know that we will be on the same team for EFY this summer as BC's. We know that we will go back to school in the fall. Me, for my last semester EVER. And we know that Christmas will come, yet again. ;)
But the even better thing is what we don't know.
We don't know what our classes will bring, or who we will meet, or what choices we'll make. We don't know what is going to happen in our day to day lives.
And I think I've mentioned this quite a few times on this blog... I love the unknown.
I love feeling on the edge of something new, and not knowing where life will take me.
So, bring on this new year. The fancy trips and busy summers.
But throw in a lot of unexpected surprises now and then too.

could this be real life?!?

p.s. mission impossible was so good. so. good. mmmm... i have SUCH a desire to be a secret agent you guys, it's kind of embarrassing.

an apple a day brings justin beiber to play... what?

this was my halloween. i made carmel apples. and justin beiber crashed the party. no big.
you may be wondering if i really like editing photos on my iphone.
the answer is yes.
and i like putting them in little collages, and looking at them more than necessary.
and then i like putting them on my blog, so when i look at my blog it is pleasing to me.
this is really a selfish thing. you can stop reading if you're offended.
what i'm trying to say is...
i really love carmel apples. LOVE THEM. i have been waiting to make these babies all the fall season. so finally i wrangled some people up and convinced them it would be the best use of their time to come to my house, and enjoy the treat.
i don't think they were disappointed.
(maybe they were? but justin beiber made up for it? i mean, he was there. wearing my shoes...)
anyway. i hope you all had a spooky halloween.
one that you can tell everyone about for years to come and they'll all be impressed.
you know... "back in my day, we celebrated halloween like it was nobody's business! we ate carmel apples and listened to music, and danced in the kitchen and it was wonderful! haven't had a halloween like it since... those were the days."

well. now i'm rambling.
catch ya later alligator.

p.s. thanks for the jacket, Jaron.

i put a spell on you

you know how sometimes you think you're probably the funniest person ever? This was one of those times.
Well, this was probably the most uneventful Halloween weekend I've had in a long time.
And yet...
It was still really great.
I had the opportunity to catch up with a good friend after not seeing him for two + years, which was especially nice. We cleaned the sink at Angie's! Don't know what that is? Picture a small sink filled with ice cream, bananas, and three toppings of your choice (chocolate, caramel, and reese's for us.) Then picture eating the whole thing.
And I especially love it when this lovely lady comes for an unexpected visit. It's a day brightener for sure!
And you guys, I'm serious about this, don't think I'm totally pathetic... but I watched Hocus Pocus for the FIRST TIME in my life on Saturday. I know it's a classic... I know I'm lame... (and am I more lame for thinking it was a super weird show? ah well... maybe it was something you had to grow up with.)
Anyway.
I also found a fake sword with fake blood in it, and walked around Smith's searching for Haley so I could fake attack her. And then when I got bored with that, I stuck it in a freezer.
Happy Halloween everyone!

p.s. i'm planning on this week being a good one. positive energy!

be ok today

"I'm so excited to hear about your night tomorrow!"I told Haley.
"I'm excited to hear about yours!" She responded.
"Oh, I'm nervous." I said, heading toward the door.
"Don't be," she answered sympathetically.
"It's ok," I said, "I'm resigned to my fate. Whatever happens happens. It will be ok."

It will be ok.
No matter how anxious or stressed out I get,
everything will turn out fine.
Isn't that something we could all pay attention to in our lives? The fact that everything will be fine.
But no. We get so wrapped up in the present. In the hurt, in the grief, in the excitement and stress of the day. The way we woke up wrong in the morning and everything was downhill from there...
But tomorrow IS another day.
And you can choose the way you live it.
True, other people will be there, influencing you.
But you decide how you act, how you react, or how you don't act.
No one else can change that.

I've been thinking a lot lately about the line from 500 Days of Summer.
You know the one,
where Tom begs Summer for a little bit of consistency.
For the knowledge that she loves him, needs him, wants him around - the same way he loves, needs, and wants her.
And she says, "I can't give you that, Tom. No one can."
Is that true?
No one can.
No one can?

It will be ok.

For now, here's a movie of me and my friend Lauren. Doing what we do best. (whatever that is.)

p.s. what should i do this weekend?

winning at tetherball, and an assortment of other things

Well, this was a good weekend. For the most part.
On Saturday I spent a good amount of the day on adventures with some friends.
We may have gone to the Pepperidge Farm place.
And it may have not impressed me that much.
But I may have gotten some goldfish and cookies anyway.
(What? They were cheap.)
And then while there, Kjarinda and I may have had the idea to drive to Bear Lake.
And then we may have gotten chocolate milk at the Gossner's cheese factory (or whatever it's called).
And then we may have grabbed our jackets and driven to bear lake.
And enjoyed sights like this, on the whole 40 minute drive there.
that's just a sample.
And then perhaps we made it to Bear Lake.
And you could probably bet that we got dinner.

And you never know... Maybe we went to a park after that and played on the swings and dominated a tetherball court?
But I can neither confirm nor deny any of this information.

this doesn't confirm or deny anything.
Anyway, you never know. All of that could have been fun.

Not so fun? Saying good-bye to this lady. You can bet some tears were shed.
Just a little depressed... See you in 18 months!

p.s. why is it so hard/bad to say "we need to talk"?

no coincidences

here i submit, that it is indeed, one of the most wonderful things in the world
to go on a long drive with a friend.
lately it seems like there's all these thoughts bottled up in my head.
yet no matter how hard i tip to the side, none of them fall out.
things that i keep bottled up inside because i'm far too afraid to admit that they're there.
that i have really been feeling that, thinking that, wanting that...
because if i say it out loud,
make the thought tangible and translucent,
it could get away from me.
and everything will fall apart, right in front of everybody's eyes.
but if i keep it inside, continue to hide them,
then, and only then, if things fall apart,
no one will ever know.
and that's my main goal, it seems.
to make sure no one knows.
but what's the point of that?
there is no point.
and that is why, i submit, that it is one of the most wonderful things in the world
to go on a long drive with a friend.
because handing my friend my thoughts
was exactly what i needed.
and even though it doesn't make me less afraid, or feel less vulnerable, or change in any way,
it's nice to know that i'm not the only one,
who has those thoughts.

don't be worried. take the risk. go on a drive.
it's worth it.
i'm worth it.

here's a picture of a cat driving.
you can take it however you want.

well, that's pinteresting...

The title of this blog post is deceiving. There was no pinterest this weekend... which is very disturbing to me, and I will have to talk to my friends about why this happened.
The fact of the matter is, my wonderful family came up this weekend, and I spent a delightful Saturday morning/afternoon with them, and was not available to plan pinterest. (I'm sure someone else could have planned it, right?? just sayin... :) )
Anyway, my family lead by my wonderful father who just happens to be one of the biggest Aggie's I've ever met. He LOVES Utah State. So when they came up this weekend for my little brother's football game, and the homecoming game at my super cool university, my dad decided to plan a little tailgate party.
And oh, did we tailgate.
All afternoon, even.
And the food and company were perfect.
So basically it was a fantastic day.
Except for the homecoming football game, which we shall not speak of at this moment. Too painful.
However, the company was superb.
And my date to the dance afterward wasn't half bad either.
So the main point of this post is, pinterest will still happen every Saturday from now on.
That's all.

p.s. life is beautiful. it's a great movie AND a true statement.
p.p.s. you guys... please vote on the poll. 16 votes is super boring... if you read, go ahead and vote, it's anonymous and you can do it more than once! although, the amount of you who are sick of reading my blog is a little disconcerting...

i can't help falling in...

yesterday, i woke up, meandered to the bathroom, washed my face, put on make-up, was in the process of doing my hair... when suddenly i heard my roommates leaving the house.

"what time is it?" i wondered.

almost 9:00 a.m. my phone answered.

"Oh," i thought, "my class starts at 9. not 9:30 as i had thought when i woke this morning."

this is the second time this has happened.

yesterday, standing in the student center with my friends, i became bored.
it's hard when they speak spanish to each other.
or about spanish things.
how am i supposed to understand? and besides, i was hungry.
so i turned on my heel and started walking away, figuring they would follow.
they did.
braden said, "don't be grumpy."
i said, "i'm sorry, i'm grumpy when i'm hungry."
...and when i don't understand conversations, apparently.

yesterday, i was in walmart.
we found some black jeans.
my friend needed to try them on.
there was no dressing room attendant and the doors were locked.
so he hid behind a wall, while i stood guard, and he changed.
then the attendant returned.

"I'm sorry," she said, "i had to go over to the returns area."

"that's just fine," i said, "no need to worry. it was funny."

"it wasn't funny!" tanner exclaimed from his new dressing room.

yesterday was a good day.

i wanted to go to this.
p.s. i should get out of bed now...

can i pinterest you in what i did this weekend? (ha ha... that was bad.)

Hello there! I hope you all had fantastic weekends! I sure did.
And now it's that time of week.
Monday.
Time for a pinterest post.
But first off, Kjarinda and I sometimes like to have pinterest days all by ourselves.
Take a gander at these lovelies!
guess which ones are mine? Ok, I'll just tell you. The ones on the right.
Were they delicious? Why yes. Yes they were.

Kjarinda and I also decided to expand our pinterest horizons and tried out this awesome idea!

Isn't that awesome? It's super easy, too.
All you have to do is paint your nails like normal and wait until the paint is dry.
Then dip your fingers in rubbing alcohol, and while wet, press newspaper onto them! The ink comes right off. It's cool.

But finally, for our real pinterest day... we made these babies.
bet you can't guess which one is our picture... go ahead. guess.
So basically, pinterest was a huge success this past week.
Check out the recipes here:

And don't worry. We made the shopping trip special too.

no, we're not THOSE annoying people. Kj really needed it. ha ha.
And hello, we totally ended on this note.
Can you say DREAM COME TRUE?!

But seriously guys, BEST 3D MOVIE EVER.

uhh... so anyway, now that I've bored you with my weekend antics, how was your weekend?

p.s. the best thing in the world is waking up to no alarm, and realizing you slept through class. because your alarm was set for PM.

make sure your keys actually make it into your purse next time...

Picture this:
Me.
Happy to be leaving Jimmy John's at almost 11p.m.
Aching back from cleaning the store up and down.
So excited to go home and crawl into bed.
Rummaging around in my purse for my keys.
Where are they?
Seriously?
Shaking the purse to see if I can hear them.
An eerie silence greets me.
(Other than the other non-jangling things banging around obviously...)
I start sweating.
Yank everything out of my purse and grasp around.
No keys.
Anxiously, I peer through my dirty car windows.
(I REALLY need a car wash.)
Something shiny glints on the passenger seat.
Ah. Keys.

dirty window... and my keys on the seat.
What do I do in this situation? I have never done this before.
(I have done something more embarrassing, car related, but that's a story for another day.)
Who do I call?
I feel completely helpless, and almost go back into Jimmy John's to ask the manager what to do.
Then, feeling prideful, I try to find another way.
And remembering a month ago, when my good friend Braden told me about his mom locking her keys in the car... I call him.
And, just like men are supposed to, he and his roommate came to save me, ready with their fancy equipment.

Kevin and the fancy equipment. And my keys. still on the seat.
And after about an hour of trying, and trying, and trying, the hanger FINALLY hooked around the lock, and *click* the keys were free.
And I learned a valuable lesson.
It's all about the hook.

my heroes.

Thanks Braden and Kevin... I owe you one.

p.s. remember when school was about homework and studying? remember how now all i do is go to classes, play pogs, have pinterest days, and eat otter pops while reading harry potter? remember how this is the best school year of my life? i do.

a monday pinterest post

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a FANTASTIC weekend, because I know I sure did! Remember that time I told you that USU would kill Weber state? If not, look at the post below this. I surely said it. AND I was surely right! My love for Utah State - despite the bad reputation of our football team -  is going to be vindicated, I can just feel it. Look out everyone, here we come!

friends at the game. too cool for school... actually, not true. we love school.
Oh, all right, enough about football... you want to know what fantastic food we rangers of the Pinterest Group made this last Saturday? Well, prepare to be amazed.

You may recall this post. Where I admitted that yes, I do happen to be obsessed with panini's. Well... you got it! I convinced the rangers that this was something they should also be obsessed with. All right... it didn't take much convincing. The panini's speak for themselves. Want to take a look?

picture via
This isn't the picture of what we made, it was just a picture of a panini that I found. We kind of made our own panini recipe this time... but here's what they look like!

Sorry about the picture... we made them after the game, so it was dark, and the lighting wasn't the best... but they turned out absolutely delicious!

What you need:
Sourdough bread
Pesto
Turkey
Avocado
Pepperjack cheese

Optional tomatoes on the side (not optional for me! I <3 tomatoes.)

p.s. maybe yesterday i got talked into getting twitter? i did not see that one coming. follow me! @shor_t_rose. (that's what you do, right? the @ symbol? Ha. I'll get there.) yeah, that's my gangsta name, jealous?

Friday, September 9, 2011

i love bad eyesight.

You guys. It's Friday! That means the weekend is like... HERE.

This weekend will consist of girls nights with a little bit of JB and ice cream.
And then I'm looking forward to an awesome football game. USU v. Weber State! We'll kill 'em :)
And I just got some new glasses in the mail... so what do you think?

p.s. Jenna Colvin is totally staying in my house right now. Can you believe it? I'm dying of excitement.

sometimes...i take the elevator.

yes, this is my house. the famous nottingham house. more pictures to come.
Let's hear it for another Awkward and Awesome Thursday! Courtesy of this lovely lady. Check out her blog, she may or may not be my idol.

Awkward:
- Sometimes the Institute of Religion on my campus REALLY wants us to sign up for a class. So they put a big bowl of candy next to the sign ups. So, I like institute, and decide I want to check out what classes they are offering. And then I grab a bunch of candy, because I deserve it. And as I turn around, one of the teachers says hi, and asks to shake my hand. So, I have my notebook in one hand, and candy in the other... what should I do? Well, probably drop the candy would be the best bet. And then pick it up after he leaves.
- Walking up the very steep hill to school from my house. And when I feel like I can't go on any longer, so I make weird faces, because that makes me feel better. No one else notices... I'm sure.
- After walking up the steep steep hill, cutting through the parking garage to take the elevator. And when the elevator stops going up, you start getting out and almost bump into a man, because it's actually only at the second floor. And then the man wants to talk to you. And then he wants to walk to class with you. And this man is straight out of 1985, mullet, unbuttoned shirt showing chest hair and all.
- Bumping elbows with people when you share an arm rest in class.
- Going to class at 9:30 on Tuesday, and not realizing that your class actually started at 9. In fact, not even realizing it until Wednesday. Oops.

Awesome:
- Wearing a fanny pack on the first day of school. Yep, I did that.
- My house, that rocks. Because it has so much space. And because it's cute and old. I PROMISE I will blog pictures of it someday. The one at the top is good for now, right?
- Starting an exclusive Pinterest Club with your friends. Good food every Saturday? Yes, please.
- Playing pogs in the middle of the quad on campus. Thank you girl who walked by and told us how awesome we are. You are welcome to play with us some time.
- My university. Because as I was walking down the sidewalk yesterday, I happened upon a group of people with two huge horses. They were advertising free horseback rides. My only regret is that I didn't take them up on their offer. This is because I was late for class... but still.
- Playing a prank on friends that involves myself and a couple other people taking our friends shirts. And then instigating a games night, where we all show up wearing the shirts. And then watching the friends figure out what was going on. It was good. That's all.

So there you go, awkward? yes. Awesome? yes.

p.s. it's almost the weekend!!

with my freeze ray i will STOP the world

On Saturday morning, I found myself with quite a few of my good friends, watching the Utah State vs. Auburn football game. It was a heartbreaker. I almost cried when it looked like we had won it, no questions asked. And then sat numbly as I watched Auburn have miracle after miracle, and win in the last three minutes.
Needless to say, our little group was the picture of devastation.
However... the truth of the matter is, half of the group was preoccupied with this awesome little thing called Pinterest for nearly half the game...
Yes, I have become one of THOSE people.
Kjarinda, Jaron and I could hardly tear our eyes away from the "Food and Drink" section. So many delicious things! Is it lunch time yet?
And then we had an idea.
Why don't we make the things we see on Pinterest?
Why don't we do it every week?
Why don't we have a Pinterest Party every Saturday?
So, with our spirits considerably brightened (only the three of us. Matt and Braden were still crying a little bit.) we headed to the grocery store to grab ingredients.
We traveled to Kjarinda's to make these delectable cookies, found on Pinterest of course. They were lovely chocolate chip cookies, with OREO'S ON THE INSIDE. And we threw in some chocolate chip cookies with marshmallows inside for good measure.
And after making a huge mess, we had the final project.

this is what pinterest showed us.
this is what we made. the oreo ones.
Basically, they were delicious.
However... who knew that if you put real marshmallows in cookies, the marshmallows disappear? I guess it's important to read recipes sometimes... just in case.

And the moral of the story is, we are now an exclusive club. We even signed a contract.
Want to join? We'll hold a council and decide if you're worthy.
But for now, the five of us are the Power Rangers.

p.s. Pinterest Day posts will become a once a week thing. Get excited.

Tuesday, September 6, 2011

are you entertained? because I sure am.

Hey, I'm back. Do you know what this means??
You got it. I have internet at my house.
Do you know what else this means?
I have a lot to catch up on!
This is seriously like having to catch up in your journal. I find it super annoying... but I'll do my best. Basically the past week has been awesome.
And that's all you need to know.

ha ha.
just kidding.

I guess I'll just start by telling you what I did for Labor Day.
I went to Bear Lake.
With some awesome friends.

We had a talent show. Haley blew a bubble inside a bubble. Matt was impressed.

Matt built an awesome sand castle. It pretty much should have won an award.
So yeah, those were the highlights of that trip.

And then today at school, I watched this video. Which was hilarious to me. Has anyone else seen it? Do you think it's funny?

And then we did something even cooler after class.
That's right. We played Pogs.
Confession... I didn't know what pogs were until like two weeks ago.
How did I miss that?
No wonder I wasn't popular in elementary school...

p.s. what did you do for labor day?

Monday, August 22, 2011

dark to light?

There are a few things on my mind today. The first is that I would really like my hair to grow faster. Because honestly, I can't stop thinking about trying out the ombre look. Quite a bit like the lovely Sydney from The Daybook. Oh, I'm sorry... did I say quite a bit? I think I meant exactly.
picture via pinterest
Maybe I'm not afraid to admit that I want to be just like her? So what, who cares? Also.. side note.. I totally have those boots, and they rock.
Anyway, back to my hair growing... yes? no? Good look for me? Go ahead, tell the truth. I might even put on some lipstick.

The second thing on my mind is that I'm going back to Logan on Saturday. Back to school in the lovely northern Utah. Remember how I've been telling you all how excited I was to get back up there? Well... the truth is, I'm not feeling as excited anymore. The thought of schoolwork is overwhelming me, but more importantly, the thought of trekking up the hill every day. But when these thoughts hit... I chase them away with the fact that I'll be living with my BFF in the cutest house you ever did see, up and down the street from tons of my closest friends. So, what's the big deal? This year is going to be AWESOME.

See? Look at all those goals... and this is just the beginning...

p.s. all-across bangs? Or not?
p.p.s. I'm a little worried, because I changed my URL without telling anyone yesterday, and now I feel as though all of you are lost, wondering where my blog went! (This is not because I assume you all will die without my blog, it's just because I got a few texts this morning asking where my blog was.) So anyway, tell your friends and family and pets! I'm over here. Still writing happily. And if you have a link to my blog on yours, please change the URL to www.psmynameismadeline.blogspot.com. Thanks a bunch, my dears.

these are the days that we'll remember

Oh, hello again! I'm so extremely sorry I didn't give you a fair warning before I took off on the BEST VACATION EVER. I got caught up in life, and forgot about the importance of telling all you lovely readers that I wouldn't be writing anything to entertain you for a week. Where have I been, you ask? Well, I've only been in the happiest place on earth. And yes, that means Disneyland! And California Adventure, and the beach, and Six Flags. But before I start bawling because of Post-Trip-Depression... I think I'll just give you some delightful Awkward's and Awesome's from the week.

Awkward:

- When you're walking back into someone's house that you don't know, making fun of someone else, and you run SMACK into the screen door. I'm talking slamming into it and bouncing off. Luckily your friends are nice enough to not bring it up again...
- When you're dying of thirst at Six Flags, and all you can think about is getting an ice cold cup of water. So when you get lunch, you ask the man nicely if you could have a large cup of water and all he says is "NO." And completely ignores you for the rest of the time until you get your food.
- When you are sitting on a boy's bed, and he is combing your hair while his roommate sleeps in the next bed. And then the roommate wakes up, and observes the situation, and then promptly falls back to sleep. Jaron? Do you remember that?
- Burying Matt in the sand, and then making the sand look like he's a mermaid. Complete with all the assets.

Awesome:

- Singing at the top of your lungs in line for Thunder Mountain, and having other random people join in. And then having the Disneyland workers tell you that you shouldn't sing anymore.
- Going to Ruby's Diner, and making friends with the Balloon Animal Guy. And when he makes you HEADPHONES out of balloons. Which is way random, but totally awesome. Not to mention the giraffe and penguin hats.
- Taking the most awkward family photos ever all over the park. And asking Disneyland employees to take them for you, and having them completely fall in love with the whole idea.
- Eating the most amazing hun cal fro yo you've ever heard of. (a.k.a. hundred calorie frozen yogurt at Pink Berry)
- Going to California for a week with the most fun people in the world, and never wanting it to end, and having no theater (a.k.a. DRAMA) the whole time.

p.s. don't worry... you'll get more pictures and fun later. prepare to be JEALOUS.
p.p.s. and also, don't be alarmed, but I changed my url to www.psmynameismadeline.blogspot.com, because i thought it made more sense. So if you have a link to my blog on your blog, you need to change the url, so the link will still work. Sorry for any inconvenience!

the difference between serious and joking

I love my friends.
I cannot wait to spend all weekend with them.
It has been far too long since we've all be in the same place!
And today is the day.
Today I get to see them all again.
You guys, seriously. Have you ever had a group of people you just wanted to be with all the time? I'm telling you. I have the best friends ever. Don't believe me? Feel free to join us. I'll show you how it is.

Tonight we're having a camp-out for Jenna's "Graduation Party" - She graduated last year... don't ask me.

And on Saturday we're having a birthday party for Haley at Utah's pride and joy theme park, Lagoon! (It really was her birthday quite recently...)

And I could be really excited because one of these people in the pictures above will be sitting next to me on all the rides - scary or otherwise - but... who wants to know? ;)

p.s. what are your weekend plans?

unconditional, unoriginal

Sometimes I take pictures of my shoes. This is because I love them. (Forever 21). And also because I finally got on board with the whole "instagram" app. And I was interested to see what would happen to my amazing tan line on my feet if I edited it up a bit. Well... I'm liking it a lot. How about you?
Continuing on with my lovely Instagrams... I got a jamba today and it was heavenly. I can't tell you what flavor it was though. Because it's a secret flavor. So you'll just have to guess! But. I get it EVERY TIME. Because it's deliciousness is almost more than I can handle. So, if you're lucky enough to know which one it is, I encourage you to treat yourself to one immediately.

And finally, to end this random post. You may have heard me talk about my best friend Haley. We have gone to school together since elementary. Only Haley doesn't remember me from way back when. (I do actually remember her...)  We've talked about it, and we had a ton of classes together. And it turns out we stood next to each other in a Chorus performance in like fifth grade. She's in the middle, I'm on the right with glasses. Funny how this world works, eh? We never knew we'd be roommates eventually...

p.s. is there such a thing as coincidence?

turning tables

Tomorrow I start work at my OTHER job. The one where I'm usually bored, and have more than enough time to write to you all. I need to have a good attitude about it, ok? This week will be terrible if I am in a bad mood the whole time. I need to forget about the happiness of EFY... where it's ok to dance whenever you want, and sing, and act like a complete dork... and be happy with my normal everyday office job. That won't be hard, right? ha.

My favorite thing about the office job is that I get to work with my mom. Have I ever told you that? My uncle owns the business, and my mom manages the employees. It's really great working with her, because she's kinda my best friend... but it gets a little sketch when she tries to boss me around. I'm working on it... don't judge.

Anyway, here's to coming back to real life and loving it. More time with friends and family is always a plus. And... I have a couple fun excursions coming up this weekend and next week that I am ecstatic to tell you about. So cross your fingers this week goes fast!

oh, just laughing at a story about my friend haley. have a fun filled week!

p.s. if you could have any talent, what would it be? mine would be dancing... or playing an instrument.
